Our Team

Dr. Horace Deal graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, in 1997. He completed his internships at Clayton Eye Center and Gottlieb Vision Group. While he was an intern, he specialized in pediatrics, low vision, vision training, glaucoma, and cataracts.

Tracy has worked for Professional Eye Care since July of 2019. She is a Statesboro native . She graduated from the Medical Assisting Program at Ogeechee Technical College in 2015. Delivering outstanding customer service has always been an essential part of a day’s work for her. When she’s not at work she enjoys being with her beautiful mini goldendoodle Princess, family, friends and singing.

Aranza has worked for Professional Eye Care since July 2020. She is a native of Millen, Georgia. She graduated from the Opticianry Program at Ogeechee Technical College in 2020. When not at work, she loves spending time with her family and dogs.

Limary has been working at Professional Eye Care since January 2024. She is currently enrolled in the Opticianry program at Ogeechee Technical College. She is set to graduate in May of 2024. She is a Statesboro, Georgia native. When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and especially her fur baby named EB.

Sophia has worked for Professional Eye Care since November 2024. She is a Jesup, Georgia native. She is currently pursuing her degree in Radiologic Sciences with a minor in Medical Sociology. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Vivian has worked for Professional Eye Care since September 2024. She is a Georgia Southern University graduate with a degree in Public Health and a native of Whitemarsh Island, Georgia. She lives with her husband Andrew, son Anderson, and two dogs. When she’s not working, she enjoys being outdoors, attending sports events, going to the gym, play dates at the park, and having fun with friends, family, and her dogs!

Melissa has worked at Professional Eye Care since 2016 after moving here from Charleston, SC. She has been Dr. Deals lead tech since 2018 and became CPOT (Certified Paraoptometric Technician) in 2019. She lives here with her two daughters Eliza and Izzy. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and relaxing at the beach. 

Amanda has been with Professional Eye Care since moving to Statesboro in Fall of 2017. She is a University of Georgia graduate with a dual BSA in Avian Biology and Biological Science. She completed her Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT) in 2023. When not at work, she stays busy with her husband, two young children, and dog. They enjoy anything water related, hiking, exploring and visiting family.
